Doors Closing

Elevation requires letting some doors close and leaving them that way.

Ending a relationship with a toxic person/behavior is like taking off a bandaid. You can either end it quickly and abruptly or let the pain drag on for moments while trying to avoid the inevitable. One of the biggest signs that a person or thing is holding you down is that when the relationship is severed everything in your life seems to make sense all of a sudden. It can be tempting to go back and open some closed doors, but remember they closed for a reason in the first place. Sometimes going up also means leaving some things behind, but we only leave things behind to make room for better. Decide today to let the door shut. Decide to move on. Decide to elevate. It’s time.
