Hard truth is the best medicine.
Lately I’ve been working hard to get into shape, and I’m getting body scans for fat percentage and muscle percentage. This machine is so precise that the person reading the results can see if you’ve had one tiny glass of wine! So as you can imagine when asked, I said to the guy “It was only one tiny glass”. He reminded me in a very frank voice, as usual, that one tiny glass can make a very big difference. Conviction never feels good, but I’m thankful to have that hard truth in my face on a constant basis. Never shy away from the people that give you hard truth. It may be just what you need to stay on track!
