You Can’t Heal What You Don’t Reveal

You can’t heal what you refuse to reveal.

We have a habit of keeping our hurt a secret as if it’s abnormal to feel pain and disappointment.Journal, chat with friends, or start a blog — anything to get it out of you.

All wounds need air to heal, so stop expecting a band-aid to be a permanent solution.

As a result, we choose to bottle it all up hoping that it will eventually go away. I know we say that time heals all, but time alone is not enough.I don’t care how long it’s been on your mind, don’t let it stay any longer.

Take 5 minutes right now to write down everything stressing you out. Take a deep inhale while balling up the paper or ripping it up. Take a deep exhale and throw it away.

Happy healing.
